Check out her face!!! (cock your head a little to the left)Hello all,
I'm sorry it has been so long since I have written. I have been busy. But then again, so is everyone. I will try to make an effort to communicate more often.
OK, so when we last talked, we had just returned from a doctor's visit. That was March 2nd. That sonogram was all about the heart. They were looking at it closely looking for any defects or any other problems. Thankfully, everything looked perfect. Here are pics from that visit. There are only four pics. But it is cool how you can make out certain features in them. We also got the session on DVD. I am trying to figure out how to share that video with everyone also.
On April 1st we went to the doctor's office again. That is the cool part about being in the "high risk" category. We get special treatment like sonograms every month. This visit was pretty cool. They are just looking for growth. We didn't even need to see the doctor. It was just the nurse doing the sonogram. She said everything looks great. And if I remember correctly, they estimate the weight at just under 2 pounds. Here are the pics. You can now really start to see her little face. It is so cool! Once again, we have it on DVD.
So we know that Vivianna has been busy growing these past couple months, but both CJ and I have been really busy too. I have finally finished our sunroom, and have begun some work in Vivianna's room. The sunroom was a lot of work, but I found it to be a good experience for me. You appreciate something a lot more when you do it yourself. You also notice the little imperfections here and there, but such is life. Here is a slideshow of the project from start to finish. It looks really cool. It is so nice to open the windows at night and feel the cool air. It also saves on running the air conditioning. I can't wait for everyone to see the finished product. While I had the compressor and nailers that I borrowed from my buddy Ryan, I put up some chair rail in the baby's room. Now we just have to pick a color for the top half and I can start painting in there. Those pics will be included in a future slideshow, after I get some more work done.
And CJ has been busy transitioning herself into a new job. She is now a Chef instructor at the Art Institute of Jacksonville. She just finished her first week teaching today. Her last day at the Ritz will be on Wednesday the 15th. This will be better for her/us in so many ways. It will be far less time at work, less stress, more time at home with the family, and it will free us up to do some more things on the side. I am so happy for and proud of her that she has this new opportunity. She deserves it.
I guess I will wrap it up now but I wanted to share these random pics also. There are some of CJ's belly, the Super Bowl, Shannon & Ryan's baby shower (CJ made that cake), our trip to Disney with Debbie, Todd and Claire. The final cake pics were our first "job" on the side. CJ and I made that cake at home. It was for a friend of Shannon's who just got married last weekend. I think we did a pretty good job and we made $500.00. Not too bad.
Alright, I hope everyone is doing well. Take care and talk to you all soon.
Love,
Bill, CJ, and Vivianna
Very cool!

Looks like you did an awesome job on the room! I am very impressed! Those tiny 'crosses' for the tile brings back memories of tiling the basement!
